Hate Speech is neither Charitable nor Educational and should not be tax exempt

The UK and Australia deny nonprofit status and tax exemption for organizations that peddle hate. The United States does not.

I have argued that U.S. Law should deny tax exemption to hate groups masquerading as educational organizations. Others have asserted that it would be unconstitutional to do so, and even if it wasn’t there is no sure-fire way to distinguish real hate from educational speech. I think both arguments are cop-outs, frankly. Excuses for not trying because, as critical race theorists would assert, the majority is not as often threatened by hate speech as are minorities. I am still woke.
